Dr. Ivo Meinhold-Heerlein a distinguished German gynaecologist and obstetrician from the University of Giessen, Germany paid a courtesy visit to Kirinyaga University on May 27, 2025. On the right is Dr. Joseph Nyaga Njagi a Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon from African Center of Endometriosis.
DVC (ARSA), Prof. Charles Omwandho welcomes Dr. Ivo Meinhold-Heerlein when he paid a courtesy visit to KyU on May 27, 2025. Looking on is Registrar (ARSA), Wallace Kamau.
The visitors were given a tour of the Clinical Skills Laboratory, where they appreciated hands-on training for students using advanced medical simulation equipment.
The visitors were given a tour of the Kilele Tuition Block, where they observed the integration of modern technology in teaching and learning. They were particularly impressed by the use of smart boards in classrooms, which facilitate interactive lessons and enhance student engagement.
