Kirinyaga University teams delivered commendable performances at the KUSF Central League Games held at the University of Embu on March 14 -15, 2026. The Women’s Soccer team recorded one win and two draws, while the Women’s Basketball team secured one-win despite facing training challenges due to limited court access. The Women’s Handball team, though winless, gained valuable experience for future improvement.
The highlight of the tournament was the Men’s Volleyball team, which qualified for the National Championships, marking a major achievement for the University. The Sports Department appreciates the continued support from University Management in enabling successful participation. The University teams posted strong performances at the KUSF Central League Games. The Women’s Soccer and Basketball teams each secured a win, while the Women’s Handball team gained valuable experience.
