Kirinyaga University Board of Postgraduate Studies (BPS) is responsible for coordination of postgraduate programs in the University. In order to execute its mandate, the Board works in partnership with the schools where the programs are anchored. These programs are designed to advance research skills, generate and globally disseminate new knowledge and enhance professional competence and skills application in the various disciplines.
Postgraduate Diploma programs are designed to advance knowledge, technical skills, aptitude and competence in the respective disciplines.
Master degree programs aim at advancing knowledge and development of specialized technical skills, coupled with advanced research skills in the respective area of specialization.
The doctoral programs offer advanced studies leading to distinctive scholarship in the respective areas of specialization.
