Kirinyaga University on August 23, 2024 hosted the President of International Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, Emeritus Prof. Bruno van Henrendael from Antwerp Belgium accompanied with the East African team comprising Prof. Emmanuel Nzau Ngoma from University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (ISGE board member), Dr. Yamal Patel, the Director 3rd Park Hospital Nairobi and Dr. Joseph Njagi, Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist at 3rd Park Hospital Nairobi. The visit focused on ISGE's interest to enter a memorandum of understanding to jointly undertake postgraduate endoscopic surgical skills training with Kirinyiga University and the 3rd Park Hospital Nairobi.
