KyU has registered sterling performance during the KUSA Central Series VII athletics competition held at Embu University College on March 14 and 15, 2015.

KyU emerged position one overall in the male category, position two in the female category with kyU’s Collins Kiptoo emerging best overall male contestant (field events) in a competition that attracted six institutions namely; KyU, South Eastern Kenya University, Murang’a University College, Embu University College, Dedan Kimathi University of Science & Technology and Machakos University College.
