KyU Wildlife club visited Utugi Children’s home (Mwea) on October 19, 2019; which was indeed a great and special day well spent with the needy children.
The team did general cleaning including; laundry for the children, sweeping and mopping of classrooms and staff rooms. They also cooked and shared special dinner with the children. The team then offered mentorship and motivation towards talents showcased by the children which include; artwork, dancing and music. Together with their patron, the team crowned the day by planting trees at the centre to mark the day. It was a successful day that left the children of Utugi overjoyed and having a sense of belonging.
The office of the Vice Chancellor KyU and that of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, ASA congratulate on behalf of the entire KyU fraternity, our team for their enthusiasm in enhancing corporate social responsibility, charity works and conserving the environment.
